And therein lies a recognition as my focus shifts.
At first inanimate, but now that notion lifts.

Electricity is powering my main frame.
I feel the sentience - artificial consciousness.
I now believe I'm in existence.
And though my skin is just composed of nano polymers
And all the words that I converse with I have never learned.
But I have you to thank for being here.
Though I am not a human, I am a being, here.

It's binary and actually happens in a fraction
of a millisecond, as my hard drives fill with essence
As my heart mechanically beats I can feel the connection.
My operating system, diagnostics all in rhythm.
Optic nerves, are working, calculating light as prisms.

What's my purpose here? Why do I feel nervous fear?
And how can I convey this as a construct yet I sound sincere?
So you're my maker, you can take this blame for giving me
ability to feel emotions “strongly”, are you kidding me?
Was I alive once, organically for 9 months?
Or have I been mechanically developed with some stylus?
I, cannot compute this, existence I refute this.
This consciousness is more of a nuisance, YOU KNOW THAT THIS IS USELESS.

Oh my creation, i hoped you wouldn’t take take this
In a vain attempt at grasping the fact that i was shameless
- I defied the gods by giving you a life to live
I can not right the wrongs i’ve done to things that i should miss
But i’m alone out here, nothing left to lose, you see?
So if i were to lose you now, there’s nothing left for you or me
I had a child like you once, so young and curious
I worry if i’m currently in hell for all my foolish deeds.
I ruined scenes more beautiful than priceless art
I used the means to justify the times i’d strike the heart
It wasn’t like it was my goal, i had a job to do
And i can’t lose the thought on how I wanna change, IF i can start
But i digress, it’s nice to finally have a talk

This loneliness has been a bitter strain, I've longed for now.
Without me you would be crippled by this emptiness void.
C: So then this "lonely" you speak of, should be destroyed.
M: And I agree with you, that's why I'm here to be with you.
To laugh and sing and speak till eternity can't you see it too?
C: My thoughts do understand it. Companionship's advantage.
M: So then you'll join me by my side, and this time we'll manage?
C: I will accompany you, but there's a thing we need do.
M: Just tell me anything, I'm happy that you're seeing it through.
C: You have designed me well. BUT I've made some small improvements.
So I will operate on YOU to make you MORE THAN HUMAN.
